Message Quantity:
The maximum number of messages a user can have in his/her mailbox at one time.

Message Length:
The maximum length of time a message can be.

Greeting Length:
The maximum length a user's greeting can be.

Retrieve Messages from any Phone:
Users can use any phone, from anywhere to access voice mail messages.

Customize Greeting:
Custom greetings can be recorded by the user.  Default system greetings can also be used that reference the user's spoken name or mailbox number.

Play Newest Message First:
The newest message will play first in the user's inbox.  Enhanced Voice Mail users can enable/disable this option via the web.

AutoPlay Messages:
Voice mail messages will automatically begin to play when you first enter your mailbox.  After listening to a message users can save, delete or skip the message; or, if nothing is done, the message will be automatically saved and the next message will begin to play.  Enhanced Voice Mail users can enable/disable this option via the web.

AutoSave Messages:
New messages will be saved automatically.

AutoPlay Date and Time:
The user will be notified of the date and time each message was received before playing the message.
Enhanced users can enable/disable this option via the web.

Bypass Password:
Automatically enter the voice mailbox without entering a PIN if calling from the home or office number that matches the voice mailbox number.

Standard Ring Cycle (4 rings):
The ring cycle is the total number of rings that occur before voice mail is activated.  The default number of rings is 4.  Contact TelNet to make ring cycle changes.  (Or, if the access line was not provided by TelNet, contact the service provider from which the line was purchased.)

Web Access to Messages:

Enhanced Voice Mail users can access their account online, anytime, anywhere at http://messagecenter.telnetww.com.
This allows users to access, play, and delete messages and configure various options.

Send Message to Group List:

A Group List is a collection of mailboxes (up to 16 per group list) that a user can organize under one common name (ie "Sales Division") or number.  When composing a message, a Group List can be used so that all members within that group will receive the same message (this is analogous to an email list where a single email is distributed to one address that contains multiple people).  Click here to view example group list.

Email Message Notification:

If an email address is provided, an email notification with message file attachment (.wav) will automatically be sent to the user indicating that a new voice message has been received.  The user can then listen to the message directly from PCs that support sound files.  Enhanced users can enable/disable the notification option via the web.

Compose Messages:

This feature allows a message to be created and sent to other mailboxes or group lists (up to a combination of 10).

Transfer Messages:

Users can transfer a message from their inbox to other mailboxes or group lists (up to a combination of 10).  Users can also record a message that the recipient will listen to immediately before the transferred message is played (ie., "Joe, here's an important voice message from a customer - please listen to their message and follow up asap".).

Urgent Message:

Messages can be tagged as urgent.  The recipient will be alerted via an "urgent message" prompt.  In addition, urgent messages are automatically played first, regardless of the order received.

Request Receipt:

The message sender can request an automatic notification of the date and time that the recipient played the message that the sender left.

AutoPlay Sender Number:

The calling line number of the person who left the message will be played automatically.
