Enhanced Voice Mail users can access their
account online, anytime, anywhere at
http://messagecenter.telnetww.com. A Group List is a collection of mailboxes (up to 16 per group list) that a user can organize under one common name (ie "Sales Division") or number. When composing a message, a Group List can be used so that all members within that group will receive the same message (this is analogous to an email list where a single email is distributed to one address that contains multiple people). Click here to view example group list.
If an email address is provided, an email notification with message file attachment (.wav) will automatically be sent to the user indicating that a new voice message has been received. The user can then listen to the message directly from PCs that support sound files. Enhanced users can enable/disable the notification option via the web.
This
feature allows a message to be created and sent to other mailboxes or group
lists (up to a combination of 10).
Users can transfer a message from their inbox to other mailboxes or group lists (up to a combination of 10). Users can also record a message that the recipient will listen to immediately before the transferred message is played (ie., "Joe, here's an important voice message from a customer - please listen to their message and follow up asap".).
Messages can be tagged as urgent. The recipient will be alerted via an "urgent message" prompt. In addition, urgent messages are automatically played first, regardless of the order received.
The message sender can request an automatic notification of the date and time that the recipient played the message that the sender left.
The calling line number of the person who left the message will be played automatically.
