Voice Mail - Frequently Asked Questions
How is Voice Mail better than an answering machine? Unlike an answering machine, Voice Mail takes messages when you are on the phone, online, choose not to answer the call waiting beep, or when the power goes out.
How do I know if I have a new message in my mailbox?
If you do not have any of the above
options, use caller ID to see if any calls were received and then periodically
dial your local access number to check for new messages.

charge on your home phone bill when calling from a remote

the call type and service plan setup for that number). However, if you dial your home phone number and it
forwards to your voice mail, then you would incur usage charges
if you have measured service. Additionally, if you are calling
from a cellular phone, cellular charges may apply. Contact your cellular provider for details. For your safety and privacy, we do not maintain your password, but we will reset it for you.
